yahoo music vs pandora

i've been using pandora now for a while and i thought i'd give yahoo music a chance. i configured my radio station then launched it (linux/firefox) only to get this error message:
Error
Sorry, we are unable to support Netscape 6.0+ at this time.
Error Code 7 -

back to pandora i guess... (i liked pandora anyways so..)

i just realized that if i ever was to convert to islam, that my middle name would probably have to be changed. or would it? =)

best web hosting company i have found

Lunarpages is currently my recommendation for web hosting. You get 250GB for $6.95 a month, plus they are super stable/reliable. I have been hosting learn-norwegian.org through them for over a year now.

post-for-post-based private/public option for blogger (blogspot.com)

i want my blog to be public so others can read it, but i also would like to decide that a certain post could be private in the case that i write about my family or just personal stuff that i just don't want the public to read. (a lá the private/public option in flickr)..

http://groups.google.com/group/blogger-help-howdoi/browse_thread/thread/9627cce59d455c32/9ccd708807487454#9ccd708807487454

has the fox been flocked?

i'm using/testing flock right now and so far it does everything that firefox does (its based on firefox) except support for:
google session sync
del.icio.us (delicious) plugin

but i can right click on stuff and blog it directly, whereas google's plugin for firefox that does something similar (but ironically in a more difficult way), doesn't work with beta blogger, i get an error cannot log in or username is not correct, type error... =( so flock seems promising, but will they stay as secure as firefox (or do they just build on top of firefox with every release of firefox?)?

trying new programs for kde

non-standard programs i just installed on my fc6/kde machine:
kipi-plugins ksudoku aquamarine beryl-kde kio_resources ksmarttray krename kdiff3 ksensors kmobiletools knetworkmanager knetstats knemo kdissert metamonitor kdirstat kdegames kdeedu kdepim

what will make DRM disappear - simple economics

In 2007, the majors will get the message, and the DRM wall will begin to crumble. Why? Because they'll no longer be able to point to a growing digital marketplace as justification that DRM works

Blogged with Flock

I sure know i'll buy music online, once i know its unprotected, drm free, in mp3 or ogg format, so corporate idiots, get it together and drop drm and start making more money (not that i want you too...=)

(communist) party of 5

go allofmp3! i think all artists should sue the RIAA.

just to set the record straight, russia isn't a communist government, they are a federation:

according to the cia factbook, the five communist countries of the world are:
china
cuba
north korea

one world, under google, with liberty and justice for all

i love google, but at the same time their influence and power is scary. but i wonder who is scarier or has more knowledge: google or the CIA?
i am still waiting for google to buy its own country and establish its own government.

how i put an image at the top of this blogger blog

(this is how it looked before i removed it.) go to your control panel > Template > Edit HTML > then scroll down to where you see this:

<div id="header-wrapper">
<b:section class="header" id="header" maxwidgets="1" showaddelement="no">
<b:widget id="Header1" locked="true" title="nick humphrey blog (Header)" type="Header">
</b:widget>
</b:section></div>

(your title= will obviously be different than mine...)

and replace it with this:

<div id="header-wrapper">
<b:section class="header" id="header" maxwidgets="1" showaddelement="no">
<b:widget id="Header1" locked="true" title="nick humphrey blog (Header)" type="Header">
</b:widget>
</b:section></div>
<div id="header-wrapper" style="border-width: 0pt;">
<center><img src="http://google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif" /></center>
</div>

using obviously your own code, not mine, and with your own img src
